“The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) is closely monitoring the situation of Filipinos in Saudi Arabia through the Migrant Workers Offices (MWOs) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in close coordination with the Philippine Embassy and Consulate,” saad ng DMW.
“The Embassy and Consulate are ready to assist overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who may need help,” dagdag nito.
Ayon kay Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree, nagsagawa ang grupo noong Sabado ng military operations na “targeted sensitive sites in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and the second targeted Aramco facilities in Yanbu.”
Gen. Turki Al-Malkithe, official spokesperson ng Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, na matagumpay na naharang at nawasak ng Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces ang isang ballistic missile na inilunsad patungong Riyadh madaling araw ng Sabado, September 19.
“The Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces successfully intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Terrorist Houthi Militia toward the city of Riyadh at dawn on Saturday, September 19, 2026,” saad niya.
