Inaasahang mapipirmahan ngayong Linggo, June 14, ang peace deal sa pagitan ng United States at Iran, ayon kay US President Donald Trump, kasabay ng anunsyo niyang bubuksan muli ang Strait of Hormuz matapos ang signing.
Sa isang Truth Social post, sinabi ni Trump na magiging bukas sa lahat ang strategic waterway nang agad kapag napirmahan ang kasunduan.
“The Deal is scheduled to get signed tomorrow, and immediately after it is signed, the Hormuz Strait is OPEN TO ALL. Our relationship with Iran is a much different and better one than previous Administrations have had,” ani Trump.
Mahalaga ang Strait of Hormuz dahil isa ito sa pangunahing daanan ng oil tankers at commercial vessels sa Middle East.
Ayon kay Trump, haharapin ng United States sa tamang panahon ang usapin ng pagkuha at disposal ng enriched Iranian uranium.
Hindi niya tinukoy kung gaano kabilis ito gagawin matapos ang signing ng peace deal.
“At the appropriate time, when all is calm, we will go in and get the Nuclear Dust, buried deep under the powerful sunken granite mountains, thanks to our beautiful B-2 Bombers and their brilliant pilots, and downblend and destroy it, whether in Iran, or the United States,” pahayag ni Trump.
Sinabi rin ng US president na umaasa ang Washington sa mas mahabang kooperasyon kasama ang Iran at iba pang bansa sa Middle East.
“We look forward to working with Iran, and the entire Middle East, long into the future. Hopefully, this process will all work out quickly, easily, and smoothly. If it doesn’t, we have the ultimate alternative, hopefully never to be used again!,” ani Trump.
Iginiit din niya na matapos ang kasunduan, iiwan na umano ng Iran ang plano nitong magkaroon ng nuclear weapons.
“In fact, they no longer want a Nuclear Weapon, nor will they have one, either through purchase, development, or any other form of procurement,” sabi ni Trump. /Bistado
