URIAN winners, a night of “ties;” Odette Khan, nagtala ng pambihirang record

Kapwa tinanghal na Best Actor sina Jericho Rosales at Carlo Aquino, habang nanalo namang Best Actress sina Maris Racal at Odette Khan.

“Very iconic. What an amazing record.

The Gawad Urian Awards, established in 1976, is the Filipino Film Critics’ measure of the artistry and skills of Filipino filmmakers.

Named after the “urian” stone used to determine the value of gold, the award is a symbol of recognition and, fundamentally, an appreciation of the creator’s role toward their medium and their audience.

Ginanap ang ika-49th edition ng URIAN sa Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium at De La Salle University-Manila, last Thursday, October 8.
