Maraming “sweethearts” ang nalulungkot sa anunsyong inilabas ni Alexa Ilacad sa pag-goodbye din ng tandem nila ni KD Estrada.
Sa kanyang socmed account ay kinumpirma ng magandang aktres-host na nagwakas na ang kanilang love team bunsod ng mga pangyayari sa respective careers nila.
“Sweethearts” ang naturang ‘term of endearment’ at tawag sa mga fans at supporters ng KdLex na halos ilang taon din ang inabot sa showbiz bilang magka-love team after ng naging stint nila sa PBB noong 2021.
Mismong si Alex nga ang nagkumpirma na nagtapos na ang team-up o love team nila na last year pa napapabalitang hindi na bibigyan ng projects as tandem ng kanilang home studio.
Sa gitna nga ng mga kaganapang gulo sa Senado noong Miyerkules, May 13, 2026, ay naglabas din ng opisyal na pahayag ang fandom page ng dalawa, ang KDLex International Sweethearts, upang ianunsyo ang naging desisyon nina Alexa at KD.
Ayon sa nasabing pahayag, dahil sa “circumstances, external factors, and the people surrounding them,” napagdesisyunan ng dalawa na tuluyan nang tuldukan ang kanilang loveteam.
“Loveteam” lang naman daw ang nag-end dahil nangako pa rin ang isa’t-isa na mananatiling magkaibigan na may respeto, malasakit at pagkakaibigan at pagmamahalan na hinangaan ng marami.
Sa opisyal na statement na inilabas ng KdLex International, sinasaad nito ang:
“After many heartfelt conversations and with mutual understanding, KDLeX decided to part ways as a love team due to the circumstances, external factors, and the people surrounding them.
“Though their journey as a pairing has come to an end, the respect, care, and friendship between them remain.
“What KDLex shared was genuine, and the happiness and memories they gave to all of us will always be cherished.
“As fans, we will forever treasure the journey we shared together the moments that made us laugh, cry, and hope, as well as the friendships we found along the way. It has truly been a beautiful rollercoaster ride.”
Dagdag pa nila: “To all the Sweethearts, thank you. Thank you for every moment of love, support, laughter, edits, trends, prayers, patience, and understanding you gave them through the years.
“They are deeply grateful for all of you and will always carry that love with them wherever life takes them.
“We hope we can continue to give them the same kindness and support as they move forward individually. Thank you for loving them so sincerely.”
Kinumpirma ito at ni-repost pa ni Alexa sa kanyang socmed at buong puso ding nagpasalamat sa mga supporters nila ni KD. Wala namang anumang pahayag na inilabas ang guwapong aktor.
Sa kasalukuyan ay may series na pinagbibidahan si Alexa kasama si BGYO member Gelo Rivera na kinakikiligan ng marami, habang bahagi naman ng YSpeak TV program si KD, na pulos mga relevant info at news ang pinag-uusapan.
Huli silang napanood bilang tandem sa Pira-Pirasong Paraiso bilang KdLex noong 2023.
