Inilabas ng PMPC o Philippine Movie Press Club STAR Awards for Music ang kumpletong listahan ng mga nangunang nominado para sa kanilang 17th Star Awards for Music.
Nakakuha ng walong nominations ang artist na TJ Monterde kasama na ang Song of the Year (“Palagi”), Album of the Year (Sariling Mundo), Male Recording Artist of the Year, Male Pop Artist of the Year, Male Acoustic Artist of the Year, Concert of the Year, Male Concert Performer of the Year, at Collaboration of the Year with KZ Tandingan.
Si TJ ang asawa ni KZ na nagpasalamat agad sa kanyang socmed account dahil sa multi-nomination na kanyang nakuha.
Ang sikat na all-girl group na BINI naman ay nakakuha ng anim na nominations kasama na ang Song of the Year (“Salamin Salamin”), Album of the Year (Talaarawan), Duo/Group Artist of the Year, Dance Recording of the Year, Music Video of the Year, at Pop Album of the Year.
Ang kanila namang male counterpart at tinaguriang P-Pop Kings ng bansa ay nakakuha ng limang nominations para sa Duo/Group Artist of the Year, Concert of the Year (“Pagtatag! World Tour [Manila]”), Duo/Group Concert Performer of the Year, Music Video of the Year, at Collaboration of the Year (“Kalakal” with Gloc-9).
Kung isasama pa ang mga nominasyon ng dalawang members nilang sina Felip (Ken) at Stell, aakyat sa pitong nominations ang nakuha nila.
Nominado si Felip para sa Rap Album of the Year (7sins), habang si Stell ay nominado bilang Male R&B Artist of the Year.
Gaya ng SB19, ang sikat ding grupo na Cup of Joe ay nabigyan naman ng limang nominations para sa Song of the Year (“Multo”), Duo/Group Artist of the Year, Concert of the Year, Duo/Group Concert Performer of the Year, at Music Video of the Year.
Ang sikat na aktor-singer namang si James Reid ay nakakkuha din ng apat na nominations gaya ng Album of the Year (jgh), Pop Album of the Year, Male Pop Artist of the Year, at Male R&B Artist of the Year.
Habang si Moira dela Torre ay may tatlo ding nominations bilang Female Recording Artist, Pop Album, at Female Acoustic Artist of the Year.
