Final at executory na ang desisyon ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) na kanselahin ang registration at accreditation ng Moro Ako Party bilang Regional Parliamentary Political Party (RPPP).
Sa Resolution No. 11271, naglabas ang Comelec en banc ng Certificate of Finality at Entry of Judgment sa desisyon kaugnay ng petisyong inihain ni Aladin A. Abdul laban sa partido.
“On 07 September 2026, the Clerk of the Commission issued the Certificate of Finality and Entry of Judgment declaring the Resolution of 27 August 2026 immediately executory and entering the same in the Book of Entries of Judgment,” pahayag ng Comelec nitong Huwebes.
Inalis na rin ang Moro Ako Party sa roster ng walong Major RPPP para sa regional elections.
“Moro Ako Party is hereby stricken from the roster of accredited Major Regional Parliamentary Political Parties under Section 7 of Resolution No. 11248,” ayon sa Comelec.
Binawi rin ang mga karapatan at pribilehiyong kaakibat ng accreditation nito, kabilang ang pagkuha ng ika-12 kopya ng election returns at pagtalaga ng poll watchers.
Naunang kinansela ng Comelec noong August 4 ang accreditation ng Moro Ako Party bilang RPPP dahil sa mga umano’y hindi totoong pahayag nito sa aplikasyon para sa accreditation sa Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections (BPE).
Noong August 27, pinagtibay ng Comelec ang desisyon matapos nitong sabihing inulit lamang sa motion for reconsideration ang mga argumentong nauna nang natalakay at napagpasiyahan.
Binubuo na ngayon ang listahan ng Major RPPP ng Bangsamoro Party (BAPA), Bangsamoro Empowerment and Social Transformation Party (BEST PARTY), Mahardika Party (MAHARDIKA), Partido Bangon Bangsamoro (PBB), BARMM Grand Coalition (BGC), Indigenous, Settlers, Sama, and Minorities Alliance Party (ISAMA), People’s Consultative Party (MUSHAWARA) at AL-ITTIHAD-Ungaya sa Kagawib Nu Bangsamoro (AL ITTIHAD-UKB).
Nilinaw naman ng Comelec na hindi apektado ng kaso ang accreditation at mga pribilehiyo ng United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) bilang Dominant Majority RPPP at Bangsamoro Federalist Party (BFP) bilang Dominant Minority RPPP. /Bistado
