Singh” bilang siyang may-ari.

May warrant of seizure and detention ng na-serve para sa supercar. subalit mayroon pa umanong mga prosesong pinag-aaralan bago nila i-file ang pormal na pagsampa ng kaso o mga kaso.
Paliwanag ni Nepomuceno, “It’s a process wherein the importers, the brokers, and even our own people, will be given the chance to present their documents and the receipts, to exculpate them or to free them up from the case that we will eventually file.”
Without really appearing [to be] prejudging the investigation, actually, doon na rin papunta ’yung conclusion. I don’t see any reason or any chance anymore for the importers to overturn what’s obviously on the record,” deklara ni Nepomuceno.
Naglabas last August 25 ng warrant of seizure and detention (WSD) ang BOC laban kay Derek Ramsay “for the alleged misdeclaration and underpayment of taxes for the Porsche 918 Spyder,” na naka-rehistro na nga sa name ni Ramsay.
“If he fails to do this or submits insufficient documents, then we would issue a forfeiture order and, if made final, the car would be auctioned off, and the proceeds would be part of the government’s funds,” sambit pa ni Bendijo.
Kung meron man daw na mga BOC personnel or official/s na sangkot sa naturang ‘scheme’ ng pagpapasok sa bansa at pag-misdeclare nito, “they should be held liable for grave misconduct that would warrant dismissal from the service, and for possible criminal violation of the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA).”
