Mag-uumpisa ang best-of-seven semifinals ng Ginebra at ROS 7:30 p.m. sa Ynares Center Antipolo sa Miyerkules.
Tinalo ng Barangay Ginebra ang No. 7 Phoenix noong Mayo 15 sa quarterfinals, 112-81, upang makapasok sa Final Four.
Tinapos naman ng Rain or Shine ang kampanya ng San Miguel Beer, 113-104, ng parehong araw sa Smart Araneta Coliseum sa Quezon City.
Ani Cone, matinding laban ang naghihintay para sa Gin Kings.
“I just know how hard it is to go up against (coach) Yeng Guiao and his team. They play the game extremely hard, they play the game extremely fast. They compete all the time, and they can wear you down in a seven-game series because of their defense and who they go to,” ani Cone.
“So there’s a lot of concern going in against a team like that.”
Idinagdag ni Cone na hindi na niya inaalala kung anuman ang nangyari sa 24-point panalo ng Ginebra laban sa Rain or Shine.
“That was one of our better games in the conference, and one of their (Elasto Painters) worst games in the conference,” ani Cone.
“When someone is on top of their game, and the other is not on top of their game, oftentimes, it could turn into a blowout. So you don’t put too much salt on that game. You just kind of let it go.”
