Marami ang kinilig at naghangad na sana daw ay gawin din sa kanila ng kanilang mga partner ang ginawang surpresa ni Dingdong Avanzado sa asawa nitong si Jessa Zaragosa.
Kakutsaba ang anak nilang si Jayda, inorganisa ni Dingdong ang pagdaos ng kanilang 25th wedding anniversary o renewal of vows sa isang Atrium venue sa BGC, Taguig City.
“Kinarir talaga ng mag-ama na kausapin isa-isa ang mga mahahalagang mga tao sa pamilya nila. Pinag-isipan nila kung paanong hindi ito malalaman ni Jessa,” kuwento ng handler ng mag-asawa sa ginawang event.
Ang alam lang daw ni Jessa ay imbitado silang mag-asawa para kumanta bilang mga special guests sa isang event. Coordinated sa mga handlers na isa itong ‘raket’ gaya ng mga ordinaryong ginagawa nila bilang mga singer.
At kahit pumatak daw ang araw sa mismong silver anniversary nila, na-convince nga si Jessa dahil sa “press release” sa kanya na siya ang kukuning endorser ng isang jewelry company na siyang nag-invite sa kanila para umawit “kuno” sa event.
Gulat na gulat na lang ang singer-actress nang pinaglakad na sila sa aisle ng altar at may kumakanta na ng mga awiting nagpayabong ng kanilang pagmamahalan more than two decades ago. Then, ikinabit na sa suot niyang white gown (as per required kunwari ng nag-invite) ang “belo” to signify the wedding anniversary.
Sa IG story na ibinahagi ni Dingdong, inisa-isa niya ang mga detalyeng kanilang ginawa para maging successful ang plano niyang surprise para sa asawa.

“1. Make sure your daughter is in on it and make all your invited close friends promise not to ‘spill the beans.’ *(Marites preferably not invited.) @Jayda
“2. Have your booking agent tell your wife that you have been contracted to perform for an event of a jewelry company to justify that she needs to be fully dressed up elegantly. pretend that it was the request of the Organizer to wear that specific outfit and that they will be the one to pay for the stylist and the wardrobe requirement.
“3. Since the supposed booking would be falling on your 25th anniversary date, make the organizer appear to agree to a very compelling Talent Fee for your wife to say yes to doing the event because she wouldn’t normally agree to having work during special family occasions unless the price is right.
“4. Get a very good and well-organized wedding coordinator and event planner to be in on the surprise and have them work closely with you and your personal staff so that there won’t be any leaks and there would be a high degree of attention to detail.
“5. And finally make sure that she trusts you enough to not regularly check on your phone. And to hide chat everyone involved — just in case. (this I learned when we started planning for this event almost a year ago) @jessazaragoza”
Pagbabahagi naman ni Jessa, “25 years later, there’s nothing else we need more than that. Cheers to us! And Happy Silver Anniversary Honey! @dingdongavanzado. 26 years ago, we were faced with so many trials, false accusations, naysayers & adversities. Even public perception felt completely out of our control at one point.”
“But our love stood the test of time. We silently built our little Family & truly brought GOD to the center of our Marriage. In the midst of all our storms, our Lord JESUS, brought us refuge. He has been faithful to our marriage all these years. We are blessed to have Jayda, the product of our love, and of course, each other,” dagdag pa ni Jessa.
